A combination of Japanese Rakugo storytelling and stand up comedy, with Katsura Sunshine and Luca Cupani.

Katsura Sunshine’s Rakugo was nominated for Best Unique Theatrical Experience for the 2020 Off-Broadway Alliance Award. It is now in it’s fifth year on Broadway and 3rd in London’s West End. Now performing together with Italian stand up comedian Luca Cupani, the two of them perform their own art but also become each other’s apprentice.

Luca has performed in Dubai and across Europe, particularly in his native Italy, where he has been featured on Zelig, presently the most most successful Italian TV comedy show (recorded live in front of an audience of 2300 people). 

He has also made acclaimed appearances on BBC and Amazon Prime.  He regularly performs at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where he won the prestigious comedy competition "So You Think You Are Funny".  He has also appeared at the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal, Canada.
