About

This event has 3 objectives:

  • Promoting the role of scientific research in multilateral discussions, especially in the context of global events to be held in France (UNOC) and possibly in Australia (COP), which are contributing to the exchanges between research and policy makers;
  • Developing stronger industry-research relationships through supporting partnerships between key stakeholders in the industry and academia, and informing connected public policy efforts across education, research and innovation systems;
  • Building a strong foundation for increasing participation of AFRAN members and increased visibility of AFRAN in public debates and dialogues by advocating for the value of cooperative research, multi- and transdisciplinary research and innovation in society.

AFRAN is partnering with the Australian Department of Industry, Science and Resources, the Embassy of France to Australia, the Australian National University, CBRIN and La French Tech to bring together Australian and French stakeholders of the education-research-industry-policy ecosystem to discuss current global challenges.
