2BS - GHG Calculator and ESCA approach

The regulatory framework for calculating greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions has changed, with the recent publication of Implementing Regulation 2022/996 and the European Commission's note on actual calculations of GHG emissions savings. These changes have been added to the new version of the 2BS specifications and to our GHG calculator made available to players.

To help you get to grips with the new Esca guidelines and the new version of the calculator, we are delighted to invite you to this training session.

During the training session, we will look at the details of GHG calculation (eec + esca) and give you an indication of how to carry out the esca methodology audit.

The 2BS - GHG training is open to Certification Bodies (auditors, back office). The training will explain in detail the new Esca approach and the updated 2BS’ GHG calculator. This training is dedicated to the biofuel sector concerned with these updates. Auditors from the biogas sector can directly contact our team if needed.

Prerequisites: Be trained as a 2BSvs - biofuels auditor and have read the latest version of the Esca Guidelines, available on the Documents page of our website www.2bsvs.com.
