2BSvs Co-Processing - EN

This training is designed for 2BSvs auditors who have completed the biofuels training, in order to continue their 2BS auditor qualification enabling them to audit « co-processing » fuel production, that integrates both organic and fossil feedstocks in a single process.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this training, participants will have an understanding of the specificities of auditing and certifying biofuel production through co-processing, including:

• Mass balance,
• C14 analysis,
• Conversion factors,
• GHG calculation,
• Sampling rules.

Training Content

During the training, auditors will explore the relevant regulatory framework for co-processing and understand the impact for an economic operator of holding a 2BSvs certificate. They will learn about the requirements of RED II and the Delegated Act (EU) 2023/1640 on co-processing, as well as the 2BS-PRO-06 (co-processing) and the specific audit obligations related to co-processing.

Method and Tools

Live online training (videoconference), in English.
Presentation and explanation of materials by the 2BS technical team.
Interactive questionnaires, Q&A sessions, and a final exam to assess acquired knowledge.

Prerequisites :

This training is open only to individuals who have completed the biofuels training for 2BS auditors.
