Dans le but de créer des ponts entre le Québec et les pays d’Europe du Nord et d’aider les artistes à tisser des liens artistiques et professionnels, FIKA(S) a invité Émilie Payeur, une passionnée des pays nordiques et une bénéficiaire de résidence en Finlande à plusieurs reprises, d’inviter, dans le cadre du festival, l’artiste scandinave avec qui elle rêverait de collaborer. Son choix s’est porté sur l’artiste multidisciplinaire finlandaise Heta Bilaletdin.

La semaine FIKA(S) sera donc l’occasion pour elles de collaborer lors d’une mini résidence de création de 4 jours qu’elles clôtureront par une performance en mode 5 à 7 à la Casa del popolo.

In order to create bridges between Québec and Northern European countries and to help artists build artistic and professional relations, FIKA(S) invited Émilie Payeur, an enthusiast of the Nordic countries and a recipient of several residencies in Finland, to invite, within the framework of the festival, the Scandinavian artist with whom she would most like to collaborate. She chose Finnish multidisciplinary artist Heta Bilaletdin.

The FIKA(S) week will be an opportunity for them to collaborate during a 4-day mini creation residency that will end with a “5 à 7-type“ performance at Casa del popolo.
