A Concert for Kids with Cancer - Concert pour enfants atteints de cancer

En décembre 2018, Léandre Gaucher, alors âgé de 10 ans, a reçu un diagnostic de tumeur cérébrale maligne. Durant cette période marquée par les traitements, son violon est devenu une source essentielle de réconfort, de force et d'espoir. Aujourd'hui, Léandre et son frère Audrick se joignent à des jeunes musiciens talentueux pour redonner à l'hôpital qui lui a sauvé la vie.

Le concert mettra en vedette Tristan Blair (violoncelle), Carl Ek (clarinette), Martine Jomphe (piano), Audrick Gaucher (violon), Léandre Gaucher (violon), Sophie Gong (violon), Mathilde Lepage (cor français), Ian Sabourin (contre-ténor) et Thomas Vinals (ténor).

In December 2018, 10-year-old Léandre Gaucher was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. During this period of treatment, his violin became a vital source of comfort, strength, and hope. Today, Léandre and his brother Audrick are joining talented young musicians to give back to the hospital that saved his life.

The concert will feature Tristan Blair (cello), Carl Ek (clarinet), Martine Jomphe (piano), Audrick Gaucher (violin), Léandre Gaucher (violin), Sophie Gong (violin), Mathilde Lepage (french horn), Ian Sabourin (countertenor), and Thomas Vinals (tenor).
