AFROHEAT is intentionally kept intimate: creating space for real connection, exchange and inspiration. Alongside the classes, we’ll come together for talks, watch parties, community moments and other side events throughout the weekend.

FRIDAY — WELCOME NIGHT (19:00-02:00)

Location: Jaz in the City Hotel

We kick off the weekend with showcases, exhibition battles and the official welcome of our international guests and artists. Stay for the music, connect with the community and celebrate the start of the weekend.

SATURDAY — WORKSHOPS (11:00-17:00)

Build your movement from the ground up through foundations, body separation and control.

Tilly · Azonto & Storytelling
Dive into Azonto and explore how to bring storytelling and personality into your freestyle.

Henoch x Tilly · Collab Class
Explore combos and movement concepts while creating space to experiment, express yourself and develop your own ideas — accompanied by Tilly’s DJ set.

SIDE EVENT — REFLECTION & WATCH PARTY (19:30-OPEN END)

Come together beyond the studio for conversations, reflection and a shared watch party. We’ll exchange perspectives, talk about the dance industry and look at what we can learn from each other.

Explore musicality, feeling and different ways of connecting movement to the music.
