Danielle Agami
Particulièrement curieuse des fusions entre les cultures, Agami a vécu sur trois continents, apportant à son travail une richesse multiculturelle. Convaincue que la recherche ne s’achève jamais, elle maintient son processus créatif vivant, sur scène comme en dehors. Ate9 a été fondée en 2012 aux États-Unis et est aujourd’hui basée à Paris tout en tournant à
l’international.

Agami enseigne le Gaga depuis 2003. Elle est reconnue pour sa voix indépendante dans la communauté de la danse et pour son intégrité en tant que directrice et interprète. Née à Jérusalem, elle a dansé pendant huit ans au sein de la Batsheva Dance Company.

BIOGRAPHIE D'ARTISTES INTERPRETES :

Gianni Notarnicola (né en 1996 à Monopoli, Italie) est danseur et chorégraphe. Il a rejoint la Batsheva Dance Company en 2021, après avoir dansé au sein de la Batsheva Ensemble et de l’Avshalom Pollak Dance Theatre. Il y interprète les œuvres d’Ohad Naharin à l’international et collabore à la création MOMO.

En parallèle, il développe son propre travail chorégraphique depuis 2018 avec des pièces telles que DAME, LA BATTAGLIA, B.O.A.T.S, G.O.A.T.S et KAMA, ce dernier a été récompensé au Festival International Solo-Dance-Theatre de Stuttgart en 2024 (2e Prix de Chorégraphie et Prix du Public).

Artiste indépendant et enseignant de Gaga, il poursuit aujourd’hui la création et la diffusion de son langage chorégraphique à l’échelle internationale.

Billy Barry (né en 1989 à New York) est danseur et chorégraphe.
Formé à The Ailey School puis diplômé de The Juilliard School en 2011, il rejoint la Batsheva Ensemble en 2011 avant d’intégrer la Batsheva Dance Company en 2012. Il y interprète le répertoire d’Ohad Naharin à l’international et est nommé Assistant Rehearsal Director en 2022, tout en poursuivant sa carrière d’interprète jusqu’en 2024. Il reçoit le Yair Shapira Award pour l’excellence en danse en 2019.En parallèle, il développe son propre travail chorégraphique depuis 2022, notamment en collaboration avec Gianni Notarnicola. Ensemble, ils créent les duos B.O.A.T.S et G.O.A.T.S, présentés en Israël et en Europe. En 2023, Billy signe également plusieurs pièces personnelles, dont PETER – a story ballet, DansHer et le trio B THIGH STAR. Artiste indépendant, il poursuit aujourd’hui son parcours d’interprète et de créateur, explorant un langage chorégraphique à la fois physique, théâtral et ancré dans la recherche contemporaine.

Omri Drumlevich (né en 1992 en Israël) est artiste du mouvement, interprète et directeur artistique.
Ancien danseur et répétiteur au sein de la Batsheva Dance Company (2010–2017), il a ensuite été membre principal de la distribution de Sleep No More de Punchdrunk à New York (2018–2024). Il est le fondateur et directeur artistique de Blisspoint et le créateur de Centrifuge, des espaces de recherche où l’exigence rencontre la spontanéité.En tant que directeur de mouvement et pédagogue, Omri accompagne interprètes et artistes vers davantage de liberté, de nuance et de curiosité dans leur pratique corporelle. Son travail s’ancre dans le Gaga, qu’il enseigne depuis 2012, comme un langage favorisant une exploration physique authentique, une connexion à la joie du mouvement et une expression cathartique.

Always curious about the fusion between cultures, Agami has lived on 3 different continents, bringing a rich multicultural flavor to her work. Admitting that the research will never end she keeps her process alive on and off stage.

ate9 was founded in 2012 in the US and today is based in Paris and touring internationally. Agami has been a Gaga teacher since 2003, known for her independent voice in the dance community and her integrity as a female director and lead dancer. She was born in Jerusalem and danced with The Batsheva Dance company for 8 years.

PERFORMING ARTISTS’ BIOGRAPHIES

Gianni Notarnicola (born in 1996 in Monopoli, Italy) is a dancer and choreographer.
He joined the Batsheva Dance Company in 2021, after dancing with the Batsheva Ensemble and the Avshalom Pollak Dance Theatre. A former dancer and rehearsal director with the Batsheva Dance Company (2010–2017), he later became a principal cast member of Sleep No More by Punchdrunk in New York (2018–2024). He is the founder and artistic director of Blisspoint and the creator of Centrifuge, research spaces where rigor meets spontaneity. As a movement director and teacher, Omri guides performers and artists toward greater freedom, nuance, and curiosity in their physical practice. His work is rooted in Gaga, which he has been teaching since 2012, as a language that fosters authentic physical exploration, a connection to the joy of movement, and cathartic expression.
