Intro.

The Angolan Dances Trip is a tourism project by Lápis Eventos, the same production company responsible for major events in Europe, such as the Angolan Dances Festival in Lisbon.

Created for lovers of Angolan and African culture, this project offers an authentic and immersive experience, allowing participants to experience Angola alongside local artists and cultural professionals.

During the trip, participants will have the opportunity to:

• Attend dance workshops and intensive training sessions
• Enjoy Muzongue parties and traditional street celebrations in Luanda
• Explore the city through guided walks and excursions to iconic locations
• Compete and participate in street dance contests
• Join gastronomic exchanges, with the opportunity to present dishes from their own countries
• Enjoy family dinners, live music shows, and traditional backyard parties
• Visit the Kedas of Kalandula in Malanje
• Discover Angolan crafts, museums, and gastronomy
• Participate in the traditional wedding ceremony – The Pedido
• Take excursions to Angola's most iconic places

About the Founder – Gabriel Cabinda

• Founder of the Festival of Angolan Dances in Portugal since 2019
• Education: Marketing and Event Production Management (European University of Lisbon) and Hospitality Management (CHB in partnership with École Hôtelière de Lausanne, Switzerland)
• Passionate about hospitality, culture, and tourism
• Supports local artists and promotes genuine cultural experiences
• Social responsibility: donations of wheelchairs in each edition, helping people take their first steps

• Group B: August 19–29, 2026
• Maximum participants: 30 per group

PACKAGE 1: Angola Cultural Experience

Duration: 10 days
Location: Luanda + Malanje Province
Ideal for: Cultural immersion, dance, and local experiences

Included Activities:

• Angolan dance workshops: Semba, Kizomba, Kuduro, and other traditional dances
• Personalized training: select your instructor for the Final Gala (8 days)
  • Each instructor works with only 3 participants (10 instructors for 30 tourists)
  • Classes can take place at the instructor’s studio or another location; local transportation (candongueiro if needed)
  • Final performance is optional, with symbolic awards and certificates
• Talks show on the Five Cultural Dimensions of Africa – Around the Beach Bonfire
• Live music and farewell dinner
• Visits to local dance schools
• Lectures on dance, music, instruments, and Angolan culture
• Os bailarinos de Luanda Party – a unique celebration of the city’s dance schools
• Participation in street competitions (Semba, Kizomba, Kuduro)
• Interludes feature an International Dance Battle: tourists vs. locals
• Guided tours to museums and landmarks
• Walking tours of Luanda
• Angolan gastronomy (1 meal per day + breakfast)
• Kizomba na rua – dancing experience at Luanda Bay
• Traditional backyard parties
• Participation in traditional wedding – The Pedido
• Excursion to Malanje and the Kalandula Waterfalls
• All parties organized by us are included in the program
• 24-hour transportation and airport transfers
• Free time or optional private lessons

• International flights not included
• Deposits fully refundable for package 1 if canceled before May 1, 2026
• Package 2 if canceled before 30 of December 2025
• After this date, refunds are subject to conditions

PACKAGE 2: Culture & Desert Experience

Duration: 13 days (10 days in Luanda + Malanje, 3 days in Namibe & Lubango)
Includes all activities from Package 1, plus:

• Domestic flight Luanda ↔ Lubango/Namibe (round trip)
• Visit and camping in the Angolan desert
  • 2 nights in a 3★ hotel + 1 night in a desert camp
  • Breakfast and lunch or dinner included
• 24-hour assistance
• Desert experience can be scheduled before or after the main program

Payment & Notes

• Remaining balance may be paid in cash or by bank transfer (upon arrival or one week before)
• All activities include transportation and 24-hour assistance
• Full itinerary with additional details will be available in May 2026

Not Included:

• International flights
• Travel/health insurance
• Medications or medical emergencies
• Private lessons or additional individual activities
• Meals outside the daily plan
• Personal expenses (souvenirs, drinks, snacks)
• Laundry or room service
• Extra baggage or airport fees
• Communication costs (SIM cards, international calls)
• Any other expenses outside the program
• transfer if you came before the dates ( but we can assist you to have all the service you need extra night at hotel, lr guest house, tax, SIM card, exchange  money etc.)

Deposit Policy: Refundable if canceled before May 1, 2026 for package 01. After this date, subject to conditions. Package 02 before 30 of december 2025.
