As the cross-sectoral convergence point and a catalyst for smart energy management in EV charging, MOBENA complements CharIN's efforts by coordinating the French EV charging ecosystem for the harmonized deployment and scaling of charging services at the European level.

VEDECOM, Institute for Energy Transition, is a public-private partnership foundation, established in 2014 and supported by the France 2030 program. It brings together 58 stakeholders committed to innovative and sustainable mobility: academic institutions, local authorities, and various private stakeholders (automotive, public transport, road infrastructures, telecommunications, energy, defense, digital services, and insurance). Its research focuses on electrification, connected and automated vehicles, and new shared mobility solutions.

MOBENA is a consortium led by the VEDECOM Institute, uniting stakeholders across the electric vehicle charging value chain in a cross-sectoral manner (e-mobility, building & infrastructure, energy). Its aim is to achieve a harmonized deployment of interoperable charging technologies and services across Europe, and to facilitate the adoption of electric vehicles through high-value-added services.
