Conférence musicale "ITMA - Serving the Living Tradition"

Nos amis et collègues de l’ITMA (Irish Traditional Music Archive) nous présenteront leur travail de préservation du répertoire de musique traditionnelle irlandaise et nous joueront un concert avec Iarlaith Mac Gabhann (flûte), Seán Potts (uilleann pipes) et Sophie Ryan (harpe), accompagnés par la danseuse Bridie Flaherty.

Founded in 1987, the Irish Traditional Music Archive (ITMA) in Dublin is home to the largest, most comprehensive collection of Irish traditional music, song, and dance in the world. Four members of the team who run ITMA - Iarlaith Mac Gabhann plays flute, Seán Potts is an uilleann piper, Sophie Ryan plays the harp and Birdie Flaherty is a dancer - will tell us more about their important work enliven tonight's presentation with short performances.
