Service of Thanksgiving

The Commonwealth War Graves Commission, Mayor of Bayeux, and the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence, invite you to a Service of Thanksgiving at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Bayeux on Wednesday 5th June 2024 at 7pm.

Guests are requested to arrive from 5.30pm due to the security measures in place. Late arrivals may not be granted access. Following the service, you are invited to follow the procession to the Commonwealth War Graves Commission Bayeux War Cemetery.

Terms and conditions

Members of the public can register below to attend the event.

Please note that registering does not guarantee a ticket. Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, and will only be allocated if capacity is not reached through veteran registration.

Registration will close on 8th April 2024, and you will be informed by 15th April 2024 if you have a place.

The Commonwealth War Graves Commission is not responsible for transport or accommodation. By registering you confirm you can attend.

Le Commonwealth War Graves Commission, le maire de Bayeux et le ministère de la Défense du Royaume-Uni, vous invitent à la cérémonie du souvenir à la Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Bayeux le mercredi 5 juin 2024 à 19h00.

Les invités sont priés d’arriver à partir de 17h30 afin de respecter les mesures de sécurité mises en place. À l'issue de la cérémonie vous êtes invité à prendre part à la procession de la Commonwealth War Graves Commission jusqu'au Cimetière de Guerre CWGC - Bayeux War Cemetery.

Les membres du public peuvent s’inscrire ci-dessous pour assister à l’événement.

Veuillez noter qu’une inscription ne garantit pas l’obtention d’un billet. Les places seront attribuées selon le principe du premier arrivé, premier servi, et seront seulement attribuées en fonction des places restantes après l'inscription des vétérans.

Les inscriptions seront clôturées le 8 avril 2024 et vous serez informé avant le 15 avril 2024 si vous avez un billet.
