Every city has a heartbeat. In Troyes, during one unforgettable week in summer, that heartbeat beats to the rhythm of Bachata. 

Welcome to The Dominican Swag Festival - Troyes, El Corazón de la Bachata - where passion, music, and culture meet at the heart of the city.

 

Born from one simple intention: to share. To share the love of Bachata, the warmth of human connection and the living soul of Dominican culture. Over the years, Dominican Swag Festival has become a reference, a festival where history dances hand in hand with passion, and every movement tells a story.

 

In the heart of this festival are high-quality workshops, guided by artists and teachers who pour their experience into every step. Here, dancers explore the roots, the musicality, and the essence of Bachata, Merengue, Kompa, and more, learning not only the steps, but the soul behind the dance. When night falls, the festival awakens. Warm, vibrant nights invite connection, freedom, and emotion : where every song opens a space to share and every dance becomes a story. By day, bachata leaves the venues and takes over the outdoors. Open-air socials transform Troyes into a shared dance floor, where spontaneous moments bring the Dominican spirit to life in the streets.
