DUO ORCHESTRA Le projet « Orchestra » a pour ambition de proposer des arrangements originaux promus par l’association du piano et de l'accordéon. La mise en avant d’œuvres issues du grand répertoire orchestral est au cœur du projet, une proposition également soutenue par d’autres pièces aux instrumentations revisitées. Ici, le DuoOrchestra (DuoO) met en avant les célèbres « Tableaux d’une exposition » de Modeste Moussorgski. Inspiré notamment de l’orchestration de Ravel, DuoO utilise les différents jeux de timbres offerts par les deux instruments pour faire redécouvrir cette pièce monumentale à travers un arrangement original et inédit. Les deux musiciens se sont associés en septembre 2021, et ont depuis eu l’occasion de monter ensemble sur différentes scènes : aux deux premières éditions du CPE festival ; à l’IMEP, dans le cadre du Festival piano 2022; lors du concert d’ouverture du Printemps musical de Silly 2024 et au Festival NAMusiQ 2024. Le duo est finaliste de l’édition 2023-2024 du concours « Génération Classique », organisé par les Festivals de Wallonie.

DUO ORCHESTRA Het project “Orchestra” heeft als doel originele arrangementen te brengen, waarbij piano en accordeon worden gecombineerd. Het project richt zich vooral op werken uit het grote orkestrepertoire, aangevuld met andere stukken met een nieuwe instrumentatie. Hier brengt het DuoOrchestra (DuoO) de beroemde “Tafereels uit een tentoonstelling” van Modest Moessorgski ten gehore. DuoO, dat met name geïnspireerd is door de orkestratie van Ravel, maakt gebruik van de verschillende klankkleuren van de twee instrumenten om dit monumentale stuk te herontdekken door middel van een origineel en uniek arrangement. De twee musici zijn in september 2021 een samenwerking aangegaan en hebben sindsdien samen op verschillende podia gestaan: tijdens de eerste twee edities van het CPE-festival, bij het IMEP in het kader van het Festival piano 2022, tijdens het openingsconcert van de Printemps musical de Silly 2024 en op het Festival NAMusiQ 2024. Het duo is finalist van de editie 2023-2024 van de wedstrijd “Génération Classique”, georganiseerd door de Festivals de Wallonie.

DUO ORCHESTRA The aim of the ‘Orchestra’ project is to offer original arrangements promoted by the combination of piano and accordion. The project focuses on works from the great orchestral repertoire, a proposal also supported by other pieces with revisited instrumentation. Here, DuoOrchestra (DuoO) showcases Modest Mussorgsky's famous ‘Pictures at an Exhibition’. Inspired in particular by Ravel's orchestration, DuoO uses the different timbres offered by the two instruments to rediscover this monumental piece through an original and unprecedented arrangement. The two musicians joined forces in September 2021 and have since had the opportunity to perform together on various stages: at the first two editions of the CPE festival; at the IMEP, as part of the 2022 Piano Festival; at the opening concert of the 2024 Silly Music Spring and at the 2024 NAMusiQ Festival. The duo is a finalist in the 2023-2024 edition of the ‘Génération Classique’ competition, organised by the Festivals de Wallonie.
