Description
Walk into a boulangerie in France and rest assured that the bread you'll enjoy will be baked in house. But do the same with a chocolate shop (here or elsewhere) and most likely you'll be having chocolate made by a larger manufacturer.
In a special chocolate tasting prior to the screening of "Délicieux" with Lost in Frenchlation, join us in exploring 4 different French chocolates, made from scratch by the chocolate maker. Each has been made by sourcing and roasting the cocoa beans and making them into delicious chocolate. Also included is a freshly made chocolat chaud.
You'll experience flavors and most likely a richer experience of chocolate than you've had before. The tasting runs from 6pm - 7pm and join us for the first 20 minutes for a talk on the history of chocolate, how it's made and when it first came to France.
Led by experienced chocolate maker and educator Ben Tseitlin, featured in Vogue, Zagat and hired by companies such as Meta, Google, and Sony.
Please note that tickets for the movie are NOT included in the tasting and must be purchased separately.
