Are pleased to present a panel discussion on
European Integration in the 21st Century: Navigating New Challenges
Join us for an enlightening analysis of the challenges the European Union is facing today, in the face of geopolitical tensions, migration flows, populism and climate change, with two distinguished professors from Sciences Po Paris and Bocconi University: Prof. Arancha González and Prof. Catherine E. de Vries.
The panel discussion will take place in English and will be followed by a Q&A session.
The event is open to Alumni from Bocconi University and Sciences Po, as well as members of other Alumni associations based in Paris. If you'd like to join us for an informal dinner after the panel, please reach out to your respective Alumni association to confirm your presence.
ARANCHA GONZÁLEZ
Currently Dean of the Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA) at Sciences Po, Prof. González previously served as Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation. Prior to that, she worked for the United Nations, the International Trade Centre, the World Trade Organization and the European Commission, on topics related to international trade and development.
CATHERINE E. DE VRIES
Currently Dean for International Affairs and Professor of Political Science at Bocconi University, Prof. De Vries serves as the scientific advisor for the Bertelsmann Foundation, as a member of European Integration Committee of the Dutch Advisory Council on Foreign Affairs, and as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin. Her academic work focusses on the the key challenges facing the European continent today, such as Euroscepticism, political fragmentation, migration and corruption.
