The GAME UX SUMMIT is the first professional UX event dedicated to the video game industry. It brings together renowned speakers from various Game UX-related disciplines. The 2025 Edition will be hosted in person by AP University in Antwerp, Belgium on September 8-10 and co-organized by GAMASTE.
In a nutshell, the Game UX Summit consists of:
-
The Summit: 2 days of game UX professional talks on Monday Sept. 8th & Tuesday Sept. 9th and a mixer on Monday evening. A Summit ticket gives you access to all of this.
-
Masterclasses: An optional day of masterclasses on Wednesday Sept. 10th. You can attend one of the 7-hour masterclasses happening in parallel if you buy an additional Masterclass ticket. A Summit ticket is required (masterclasses have limited seats and are reserved for Summit attendees).
In details:
The Game UX Summit consists of a human-sized 2-day summit filled with talks and keynotes on game UX in a broad sense, on Sept 8 & 9, 9:30am-6pm (one track only both days), as well as networking opportunities (breakfast & lunch are provided for all participants).
A Networking mixer on Sept 8 evening is included for all Summit tickets (except student tickets). An optional third day of Masterclass is proposed for Summit ticket holders: 7 hours of masterclass (9am-5:30pm) on various topics in small groups (maximum 25 participants per masterclass -- the available Masterclasses are described below).
The early bird ticket rate ends on July 9th. The "Early bird: Summit" ticket gives the same access as a "Summit" ticket.
50 student tickets are available and a valid student card will be requested on the day of the onsite registration. If no proof of student status can be provided, access will be denied unless a Summit ticket is purchased on site.
All summit tickets are for the 2 days of summit and the party (breakfast and lunch included both days). Student tickets do not provide access to the party, or to a Masterclass ticket as seats are limited.
4 additional masterclass tickets (limited seats) will be announced and available soon. A Summit ticket is mandatory before being able to buy a Masterclass ticket. A student ticket does not give access to a Masterclass ticket. A Masterclass ticket gives access to one of the four 7-hour masterclasses on Sept 10th, with breakfast and lunch included.
Masterclass C - Jean-Luc Potte - Code literacy for gamedevs who don’t code. In this 7-hour masterclass (9am-5:30pm) aimed at non-coders, Jean-Luc will give you the tools to engage on a more equal footing with
your technical teams.
Masterclass D - Celia Hodent - Cognitive Science & Game UX Guidelines. In this 7-hour masterclass (9am-5:30pm) Celia gives an introduction to cognitive science and UX strategy applied to games.
