The excursion GRAN CANARIA GRAND TOUR will allow you to discover the impressive west coast of the island, its volcanic landscapes, its banana plantations, and some coastal fishing villages. With this complete day tour of 8/9 hours, you will access to the wild side of Gran Canaria and can observe its links with the sea as well as a part of its agriculture.

A comfortable air-conditioned coach picks you up at your place of residence around 9 am in the morning and takes you back in the late afternoon around 5-6 pm. Excursions are guided in English, Spanish and German by experienced professionals. Insurance are included.

The four coasts of Gran Canaria in a single excursion ! You start the tour in a south-west direction, visiting the picturesque fishing village Puerto de Mogán known as “Little Venice”. It continues through volcanic landscapes and mountains of a thousand colors (Los Azulejos) until it reachs San Nicolás, the center of GC tomato cultivation. The west coast and its beautiful cliffs bring you to Puerto de Las Nieves in Agaete where you will see the remains of the old "Finger of God". The guided tour takes you along the north coast where you will see the towns of Gáldar, Guía and Arucas - towns known for their banana crops (plantation visit optional) - and you arrive at Las Palmas where you can walk along the famous Las Canteras beach and photograph the Alfredo Krauss Auditorium. After an unforgettable day you return to the south along the east coast of Gran Canaria.

Please note the weather is not the same in the north than in Maspalomas.You have to provide adequate clothing, a pullover or light jacket in winter and good quality shoes (avoid too light sandals). A 90 minutes stop lunch is included in the tour at the typical of fishermen restaurant El Capitan in Agaete (optional menu with a supplement price of 13 € approx).

This tour takes place only once a week, every Saturday. Book with Dunas Map gives you the assurance of a VIP service in English, French or Spanish. This excursion is only available from Maspalomas / Playa del Inglés / Sonnenland / San Agustin. It is essential to book at least 48 hours in advance. You will just have a small deposit to pay now, the balance is due at least 24 hours before the day of the excursion. You will receive by email all the instructions to proceed as well as the exact address of the pickup point.
