GRAND TASTING PARIS

Je vous propose de participer à une dégustation exceptionnelle le soir du 27 Septembre 2024.

Elle sera exceptionnelle à plus d’un titre car son lineup comprendra :

. 3 vintages des années 60’s : 1962, 1967 et 1969

. 3 Whiskies distillés dans les années 70’s : Ben Nevis, Linlithgow et Springbank

. 4 distilleries fermées :  Linlithgow, Millburn, Brora et Port Ellen (même si les 2 dernières ont été réouvertes depuis)

. Un Whisky extrêmement rare faisant partie de la première série embouteillée en 1981 par le légendaire Sylvano SAMAROLI et nommée : « The Never Bottled Top Quality Whisky Series » plus connue sous le nom de « Flowers »

. des notations toutes comprises entre 90 et 94 sur WhiskyFun et WhiskyBase.

Ce sera donc un voyage à la fois hors du temps, plein de découvertes et en dehors des perceptions sur certaines distilleries, ma volonté étant de vous surprendre et de marquer vos papilles au plus profond de vos souvenirs.

Ce sera aussi l’opportunité de vous réunir, la veille d’un important événement consacré aux spiritueux et particulièrement au Whisky sur Paris, autour de ces Whiskies d’exception, de vous retrouver ou de faire connaissance et de partager cette dégustation exceptionnelle entre amateurs et passionnés de tous horizons.

Le Grand Tasting se tiendra à Paris, dans un lieu qui vous sera communiqué ultérieurement et une formule de dîner à l’issue de la dégustation est en option (voir billetterie).

6. SPRINGBANK 12 Years, 57% ABV Distillery Bottling 1980’s era
7. BRORA Vintage 1982, 25 Years, 56,3% ABV Distillery Bottling
8. PORT ELLEN Vintage 1982, 32 Years, 57,9% ABV Bottled by Malts Of Scotland

Dear friends,

I suggest you participate in an exceptional tasting on the evening of the 27^th of September 2024.

It will be exceptional in more than one way because the lineup, made up of 8 bottles of Whisky, will include:

. 3 vintages from the 60’s: 1962, 1967 and 1969

. 3 Whisky distilled in the 70’s: Ben Nevis, Linlithgow and Springbank

. 4 closed distilleries: Linlithgow, Millburn, Brora and Port Ellen (even if the last 2 have since been reopened)

. An extremely rare bottle part of the first series bottled in 1981 by the legendary Sylvano SAMAROLI and named: “The Never Bottled Top Quality Whisky Series” better known as “Flowers”

. ratings all between 90 and 94 on WhiskyFun and WhiskyBase.

It will therefore be a surprising journey both outside of time and outside of perceptions about certain distilleries, my desire being to surprise you and mark your taste buds deep in your memories.

This will be also the opportunity for a gathering the day before an important event dedicated to spirits and particularly to Whisky, around these exceptional Whiskys, to meet up or get to know each other and to share this exceptional tasting between amateurs and Whisky enthusiasts.

The Grand Tasting will be held in Paris, at a location that will be communicated to you later and a dinner option after the tasting is optional (see ticketing).
