Paris Kizz Experience
December 10th to 14th, 2026
1. Competition Concept
The Jack & Jill Tarraxo and Jack & Jill Urban Kiz competitions are open to all dancers registered in the corresponding category.
Registrations are individual, as either a Leader or a Follower. Partners are randomly assigned before each round. Competitors are evaluated on their ability to adapt to different partners and different music.
The competition follows a Knockout (single elimination) format.
2. Competition Format
Elimination Rounds
- Competitors are paired into duels.
- Each duel consists of 2 couples.
- Partners are randomly assigned before each performance.
- Dancers have 1 minute and 30 seconds to showcase their skills.
- At the end of each duel, only one couple advances to the next round.
The number of rounds depends on the total number of registered participants.
3. Final Round
The final follows the same general structure.
Finalists will dance to 2 different songs, with a partner change between each round if the final format allows it.
Judges will determine the winners at the end of the final.
4. Judging Criteria
Each dancer will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
Technique (25%)
- Posture
- Balance
- Quality of movement
- Precision
- Mastery of fundamentals
Connection (25%)
- Leader/Follower communication
- Quality of leading and following
- Responsiveness
- Partner comfort
- Fluidity
Musicality (20%)
- Timing and rhythm accuracy
- Musical interpretation
- Variations
- Use of musical accents
Adaptability (20%)
- Ability to dance with an unknown partner
- Handling differences in level
- Improvisation skills
- Partner awareness and reading
Presence & Interpretation (10%)
- Attitude
- Expression
- Elegance
- Creativity
- Respect of Tarraxo or Urban Kiz style
5. Tie-Break Rules
If judges are unable to decide between competitors:
- An additional 45 to 60-second round will be requested;
- The same partners will be kept for the tie-break, unless the Head Judge decides otherwise;
- The judges’ decision after this round will be final.
6. Music
Music is exclusively selected by the official DJ.
Participants will discover the music at the moment of their performance.
No music requests or changes will be accepted.
7. Code of Conduct
Each participant agrees to:
- Respect judges, staff, DJs, and other competitors;
- Maintain a respectful and sportsmanlike attitude;
- Respect their partner throughout the performance;
- Be present in the waiting area before their turn;
- Follow all instructions from the organization.
Any unsportsmanlike, disrespectful, violent, discriminatory behavior, or any action endangering another participant may result in immediate disqualification.
8. Dress Code
Appropriate attire is required.
Shoes must be suitable for dance practice.
Any accessories that may pose a risk to other participants may be prohibited.
9. Late Arrival or Absence
Any competitor absent at the time of their call may be disqualified.
The organization reserves the right to modify the order of performances if necessary.
10. Judges’ Decisions
All judges’ decisions are final and without appeal.
No complaints regarding results will be considered after their announcement.
11. Organizational Rights
The Paris Kizz Experience organization reserves the right to modify these rules if necessary to ensure the smooth running of the competition.
Participation implies full and unconditional acceptance of these rules.

1. Principe de la compétition
Les compétitions Jack & Jill Tarraxo et Jack & Jill Urban Kiz sont ouvertes à tous les danseurs inscrits dans la catégorie correspondante.
Les inscriptions sont individuelles, en tant que Leader ou Follower. Les partenaires sont attribués par tirage au sort avant chaque tour. Les compétiteurs sont évalués sur leur capacité à s’adapter à différents partenaires et à différentes musiques.
Le format retenu est une élimination directe (Knockout).
2. Déroulement
Tours éliminatoires
- Les compétiteurs sont répartis en duels.
- Chaque duel est composé de 2 couples.
- Les partenaires sont tirés au sort avant chaque passage.
- Les danseurs disposent de 1 minute 30 pour démontrer leurs qualités.
- À l’issue de chaque duel, un seul couple est qualifié pour le tour suivant.
Le nombre de tours dépendra du nombre d’inscrits.
3. Finale
La finale se déroule selon le même principe.
