Discover the beauties of Gran Canaria in a different and fun way ! The jeeps will go through the less accessible roads of the island, taking you through peculiar places and curious shapes of Gran Canaria mountains and flora. The way back it will be done after lunch and continue enjoying the experience. You will the option of riding camels.

The excursion convoy exits through theravine of Lomos de Pedro Alfonso, just outside Maspalomas, contemplating spectacular views, and it stops at the bar "El Cazador" for a coffee, little breakfast and toillets. The adventure continues thought the forest track, not paved, of the Natural Park of Los Pilancones, stoping at a natural source of water to refresh yourself. It will head up to the Chira dam, undoubtedly one of the most spectacular and beautiful works of civil engineering on the islands. Take advantage of this place for make a photos stop and shoot the Teide, the highest mountain of Spain (Tenerife), on the horizon, if the weather permits.

You'll be taked to Tunte, where you will visit the old town and its church. The excursion will them take the road back to Maspalomas towards the ravine of the thousand palm trees until we reach the beautiful and emblematic town of Fataga. Descent through Ayagaures or Fataga depending on weather conditions and the state of the roads. The last stop will be at the viewpoint of Las Moscas where you can take pictures of the valley and see the Maspalomas Dunes. Return to the pick-up point.

This is a jeep safari so you get the experience of a professional driver and customers do not drive under any circumstances.

Please note the weather is not the same in the north and in the summits than in Maspalomas. You have to provide adequate clothing, a pullover or light jacket in winter and good quality shoes (avoid light sandals). 

This tour takes place everyday from Monday to Saturday and lasts 5 hours. Book with Dunas Map gives you the assurance of a VIP service in English, French or Spanish. This excursion is only available from Maspalomas / Playa del Inglés / Sonnenland / San Agustin. It is essential to book at least 48 hours in advance. You will just have a deposit to pay, the balance is due to be paid after, at least 24 hours before the day of the excursion.
