Le spectacle propose une relecture complète de l’archétype de la belle-mère, mené à mal dans l’imaginaire collectif occidental depuis des siècles. Les enjeux relationnels, les devoirs, les responsabilités et les libertés relatives à ce rôle sont soupesés et analysés sans complaisance, dans cette suite dynamique de poèmes narratifs. Le spectacle est présenté en français et en anglais par les coautrices elles-mêmes, Amélie Prévost et Rachel McCrum.

The shows offers a complete reinterpretation of the stepmother archetype, a pervasive theme in the Western collective imagination for centuries. The relational issues, duties, responsabilities and freedoms associated with this role are uncompromising weighed and analyzed in this dynamic series of narrative poems. The show is presented in French and English by the co-authors themselves, Amélie Prévost and Rachel McCrum.
