Forget the traditional book club - this time, you’re here to convince someone else to read your book.
Join Maison Femme at La Perle Noire for an afterwork where books become conversation starters. Bring one book you’ve read and loved, keep its title and author a secret, and get ready to make the other ladies want to take it home.
You’ll be seated in groups of 6 based on your reading preferences, so you can pitch and exchange books with women who enjoy similar genres. To help us create the groups and avoid several participants bringing the same book, please complete the short registration form: CLICK HERE.
Your book choice will remain confidential until the pitches.
HOW IT WORKS
- Bring one book you’ve genuinely enjoyed and would recommend to someone else.
- Pitch it in 2 minutes to your table - without revealing the title or author.
- Once everyone has pitched, choose, swap and leave with your next read.
- Afterwards, enjoy the rest of the afterwork together - order a drink or something to eat, talk books (or anything else!) and get to know the other ladies at your table.
IMPORTANT: Please bring a book in good condition that you’ve genuinely enjoyed and would be happy to recommend to someone else - a book you think deserves to be passed on.

The afterwork starts at 19:00. As the pitches will take place together, please arrive on time so everyone at your table can start together.
FOOD & DRINKS
Food and drinks are not included and can be ordered and paid individually at La Perle Noire.
