Lost in Frenchlation x Ciné-Balade present: Eiffel Tower Movie Tour

Join your guide Juliette for this cinema-themed experience where you'll be taken on a walk through cinema history in Trocadéro neighborhood, followed by drinks and the screening of "L'Inconnu de la Grande Arche" with English subtitles at cinema l'arlequin.

Lost in Frenchlation and Ciné-Balade have teamed up to bring you a two hour walk into the history of cinema around the Eiffel Tower, the star among the stars, and the district of Passy. Many international movies were shot here including "Mission Impossible" this year, not far from the location of "Inception" with Leonardo DiCaprio. You will learn about the beginning of cinema invented by the Lumiere Brothers and how it is linked to the Eiffel Tower and the World's Fair. We will also talk about French movies like "The Last Metro" by François Truffaut or "Peur sur la Ville" with Jean-Paul Belmondo. The story of these famous places and what filmmakers are looking for when they use them will be our main thread.

After this walk, if you would like to attend Lost in Frenchlation event, (screening of L'Inconnu de la Grande Arche with English subtitles) you can meet us at the bar of the cinema to enjoy a drink from 7pm, while mingling with our community of expats, international students or travellers who come from all over the world! Then, at 8pm, you'll be able to attend a screening at the only place in Paris playing French films with English subtitles thanks to Lost in Frenchlation. ☞ The walk starts at 4:30pm and lasts for approximately 2 hours. The event at cinema L'Arlequin starts at 7pm with a cocktail hour, and the movie at 8pm.
