Powered by Polymorph’s relentless Funktion-One sound system and illuminated by the poetic rays of Epique Technique, Méta Nova invites you into a deep and hypnotic journey. Psychedelic and tribal-infused techno will set the tone for an introspective yet collective experience—an afterglow of a conceptual and aesthetic dive into the movement.

The night begins at Nova Cinema with a screening of Rage, a documentary on acid techno and anarchism. A pre-screening talk with key scene actors and a musicologist will explore how techno has historically thrived in liminal spaces—forests, abandoned factories, forgotten urban landscapes. What makes these non-commercial zones fertile ground for new sonic and social experiments? This discussion will be recorded and broadcast on Sessions Sonores, the Belgian media dedicated to electronic music.

Alongside our residents, the after-party will host Tobias. live, a Berlin-based artist renowned for his immersive and thought-provoking live performances. A resident of Berghain and a close collaborator of Ostgut Ton, Tobias. upholds a distinct vision of electronic music, one that seeks to reveal the inherent vitality of our machinic world—an energy that can only be explored through the imperfections and instability of sound in constant tension, urging us to reconsider our contemporary relationship with electronic machines.

MÉTA NOVA will be a true ode to the techno movement, advocating the idea that techno transcends musical classifications: techno is a vision of the world—of another world.
