The excursion MOUNTAINS PANORAMIC TOUR will allow you to discover the most beautiful valleys of Gran Canaria, some typical villages and the summits of the island most known as the "sacred montains". With this complete day tour of 8/9 hours, you will understand why the island is called "The Miniature Continent"

A comfortable air-conditioned coach picks you up at your place of residence around 9 am in the morning and takes you back in the late afternoon around 5-6 pm. Excursions are guided in English, Spanish and German by experienced professionals. Insurance are included.

You will start with a stop at the Alfredo Krauss Auditorium in Las Palmas (Las Canteras Beach), then you will visit Arucas and its Neo-Gothic Church, before you go up through the center of the island with magnificent views over the north and the city of Las Palmas. You will walk through Teror, a pilgrimage town, where you will discover the typical architecture of the island, its balconies and basilica. The interior of the island shows you its deep ravines and impressive mountainous landscapes. Unamuno describes the landscape as : “Petrified storm”. You will see Tejeda, the “Roque Nublo” - the island's emblematic natural site - and the Teide - the famous volcano of Tenerife. After reaching the summit, you will continue our route surrounded by pine trees and see the almond trees of Ayacata and the town of Fataga, known as "The Valley of the Thousand Palms". On the road you will visit a Aloe Vera Plantation - the miracle plant of Gran Canaria - where you can try on your own skin its magnificent properties.

Please note the weather is not the same in the north and in the summits than in Maspalomas.You have to provide adequate clothing, a pullover or light jacket in winter and good quality shoes (avoid too light sandals). A 60 minutes stop lunch is included in the tour at the typical restaurant Balcón de Zamora (optional menu with a supplement price of 13 € approx).*

This tour takes place 3 times a week, every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Book with Dunas Map gives you the assurance of a VIP service in English, French or Spanish. This excursion is only available from Maspalomas / Playa del Inglés / Sonnenland / San Agustin. It is essential to book at least 48 hours in advance. You will just have a small deposit to pay now, the balance is due at least 24 hours before the day of the excursion. You will receive by email all the instructions to proceed as well as the exact address of the pickup point.
