Noah Derksen is one of Canada’s most distinctive voices, a singer-songwriter whose luminous blend offolk, country, and indie defies easy categorization. Emerging from Winnipeg’s indie scene—an isolated city in the heart of North America—Noah was named a finalist in SiriusXM’s Top of the Country competition and awarded Canadian Folk Music’s Emerging Artist of the Year.

An observer of the subtleand the mundane, Noah's genre-defying music will pull you through the portal for just a moment: onewhere you can feel the music rising above the noise of everyday life. Noah's recent album, Stolen Serenades (Feb 2025), is a collection of cover songs that shaped his path as asongwriter—a love letter to the artists and influences who came before. It followed Sanctity of Silence(2023), which earned him a Canadian Folk Music Award nomination for Songwriter of the Year.

Nick Kingswell: Growing up on Phillip Island in Australia, Kingswell began writing songs at the age of eight. Raised on a soundtrack of Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Willie Nelson and Creedence Clearwater Revival before discovering country greats including Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Dwight Yoakam and Troy Cassar-Daley, songwriting quickly became a lifelong pursuit. In 2006, he won the Telstra Road to Tamworth, earning the opportunity to record Hope For Me Yet in Nashville with acclaimed producer Mark Moffatt for Sony BMG. The single went on to reach No. 1 on CMC Australia.

A gifted guitarist, Kingswell spent the following years touring and recording with artists including Guy Sebastian, Jessica Mauboy and The McClymonts before launching his solo career. His debut album, Over Easy, was released in 2014, leading to extensive touring throughout Australia and Europe before relocating to London, where he continues to write and record.
