Filafriques, the new contemporary african art gallery in Geneva is thrilled to announce the coming solo show « the power of love », exclusive new project with Obou Gbais from February 14th to March 29th in the new location of the gallery in Geneva.
Love is one of the strongest and most complex feelings between humans. It expresses itself in many forms and is inspired by the intimacy of relationships. Whether it is unconditional affection between friends, passionate connections between lovers or deep-rooted bonds within the family, love is a source of joy and happiness as well as challenges and pain.
The exhibition “The Power of Love” by artist Obou Gbais focuses on the beautiful physical aspects of love. The ability of feeling to take us into the clouds and make us see the sky and the colors that animate it beautifully. In this gallery, warmth and human kindness should become visible. Feelings of connection, unity and community flow through the space and harmonize with the vibrant, colorful paints on canvas.
The power of love is a universal human experience that transcends language, origin, religion and time. It manifests itself as an act of solidarity, hope and transformation - but above all as an energy that connects us all.
“The Power of Love” is a call for compassion and kindness. It is a powerful statement about the importance of connection and mutual respect. In a series of compositions, art and human experience melt into an impressive collective language.

Filafriques, la nouvelle galerie d'art contemporain africain à Genève a le plaisir d'annoncer l'exposition « le pouvoir de l’amour » nouveau projet exclusif avec Obou Gbais, du 14 février au 29 mars dans le nouvel espace de la galerie à Genève !
L'amour compte parmi les sentiments les plus forts et les plus complexes entre les êtres humains. Il s'exprime sous de multiples formes et s'inspire de l'intimité des relations. Qu'il s'agisse d’une affection inconditionnelle entre amis, de liens passionnels entre amants ou de liens profondément enracinés au sein de la famille, l'amour est aussi bien une source de joie et de bonheur que de défis et de douleur.
L'exposition « The Power of Love » de l'artiste Obou Gbais met l'accent sur les beaux aspects physiques de l'amour. La capacité du sentiment à nous emporter dans les nuages et à nous faire voir autrement le ciel et les couleurs qui l'animent. Dans ces espaces,la cordialité et la chaleur humaine doivent être perceptibles. Des sentiments d'attachement, d'unité et d'être ensemble traversent l'espace et s'harmonisent avec les couleurs vives et colorées sur toile.
La force de l'amour est une expérience humaine universelle qui transcende la langue, l'origine, la religion et le temps. Elle se manifeste comme une action de solidarité, d'espoir et de transformation - mais surtout comme une énergie qui nous relie tous.
« The Power of Love » est un appel à l'amour du prochain et à la compassion. C'est une déclaration puissante sur l'importance du lien et du respect mutuel. Dans une série de compositions, l'art etl'expérience humaine se fondent en un langage communautaire impressionnant.
