Pour ses 20 ans, Voces Boreales vous convie à un voyage musical où s’entrelacent la quête de paix et l’élan d’humanité. En point d’orgue, Friede auf Erden (Paix sur la Terre) d’Arnold Schönberg, hymne à la fois profond et saisissant, s’élève comme une méditation sur notre désir universel de paix.

Avec Mother and Child, œuvre pour chœur, orgue et gong, Sir John Tavener insuffle une lumière voluptueuse et apaisante, tandis que les autres compositeurs, de Górecki à Slava Morotow, révèlent les contrastes entre la promesse d’un monde meilleur et la désillusion de la condition humaine.

To mark its 20th anniversary, Voces Boreales invites you to an extraordinary evening—a musical journey celebrating peace and the enduring human pursuit of it. As the centerpiece, Friede auf Erden (Peace on Earth) by Arnold Schönberg, a profound and striking hymn, resonates as a meditation on our universal longing for harmony.
