Pascale ELIA Homin' In quintet

Passionnée de jazz et de musique brésilienne depuis son plus jeune âge (et mentorée par la très regrettée Marcia Maria), la chanteuse Pascale ELIA forme le quintet Homin'In - JaBraZz en 2021 à partir de sa complicité avec le guitariste brésilien Victor DA COSTA. Le groupe rend un vibrant hommage au duo légendaire " Elis&Tom ", revisitant des chansons intemporelles sur les rythmes puissants et sensuels de la bossa nova et de la samba-jazz. 

Gepassioneerd door jazz en Braziliaanse muziek sinds jonge leeftijd (en begeleid door de zeer betreurde Marcia Maria), vormt zangeres Pascale ELIA het Homin'In kwintet - JaBraZz in 2021 uit haar samenwerking met de Braziliaanse gitarist Victor DA COSTA. De band brengt een levendig eerbetoon aan het legendarische duo "Elis&Tom", met tijdloze nummers op de krachtige en sensuele ritmes van bossa nova en samba-jazz.

Named the "father of Bossa Nova", Antonio Carlos (Tom) Jobim is considered one of the greatest composers of his time. It was in the 1960s that he internationalized a new sound, very popular in Brazil, combining jazz harmonies with bossa nova. The singer Elis Regina, unique in her kind, is to Brazilian music what Ella Fitzgerald is to Jazz.
