About the Epilepsy & Neurosurgery Unit :
The Pediatric Epilepsy & Neurosurgery Unit of Adolphe de Rothschild Foundation Hospital has a 25 years of experience in pre-surgical expolorations by non- invasive, invasive (GRIDS and SEEG) as well as surgical treatment of intractable epilepsies in infants, children and adolescents (0-18yrs).
Scalp EEG assessment, GRIDS and surgery may be performed till the first months of life, SEEG till the age of 18 months. Thermolesions may be performed at the end of SEEG. Peroperative corticography as well as Evoked Potentials monitoring are commonly used in theatre.
The Unit weekly schedule includes 3 presurgical assesments : 1 SEEG and 2 scalp EEG, as well as 2 resective and/or disconnective surgeries.

Course fees of 2500 € TTC include :
- Access to all workshop, sessions and training material
- 4 nights accommodation, from november monday 23th to friday 27th in Paris - Students and Faculty are expected to stay on site during the whole duration of the course.
- Breakfast, morning & afternoon breaks, lunches, Monday and Thursday dinners, from november monday 23th to friday 27th. Tuesday and Wednesday dinners are on participant self organisation.

After preregistration you wil be send a detailled booklet about the course. You will be asked for a short CV and to decribe your objectives for participating in the Masterclass.Please note that your registration will only be confirmed after receipt of an agreement signed between all parties.
Want to dive into the daily life of our unit?
If you would like to take advantage of your visit to gain hands-on experience by sharing in the daily activities of our team, we offer an optional program that will allow you to actively participate in :
- cases review meeting,
- observe live sEEG analysis,
- and witness electrode implantation in the operating room, as well as thermocoagulation procedures if indicated.
- visit in the clinical neurophysiology laboratory
You will be welcomed into our unit for a period of 5 days.
