Entendez-vous l’appel du lointain ? La caravane s’assemble. Les voyageurs se hèlent, les chevaux et les chameaux chargés de marchandises se rejoignent.

Il est temps d’enjamber votre monture. Venez partager nos contes et nos chants.

D’Istanbul, nous gagnerons la Syrie puis la Perse, nous suivrons les étoiles jusqu’au cœur de l’Inde… Qui sait où notre route s’arrêtera ? Vous en êtes ?

Qafila est un spectacle nomade, de format acoustique, avec une chanteuse, une narratrice et trois musiciens (târ, ney, percussions). Le public est emmené dans un voyage imaginaire de la Turquie à l'Inde, à travers des chansons traditionnelles, des contes et des moments de participation. Les artistes et le public sont transportés d'une oasis à l'autre, traversant les pays et les époques. Cette mosaïque musicale est une invitation à franchir les frontières mentales et géographiques, en établissant de nouvelles connexions entre les traditions musicales orientales et le répertoire occidental.

Âge conseillé : de 7 à 107 ans.
Durée : 40 minutes + bord de scène

Can you hear the call of the distance? The caravan is assembling. Travellers hail each other, horses and camels laden with merchandise come together.

It's time to hop on your horse. Come and share our tales and songs.

From Istanbul, we'll head for Syria, then Persia, following the stars to the heart of India... Who knows where our journey will end? Are you in?

Qafila is a nomadic, light-format acoustic show featuring a singer, a narrator and three musicians (târ, ney, percussion). The audience is taken on an imaginary journey from Turkey to India, through traditional songs, tales and moments of participation. The artists and audience are transported from one oasis to another, crossing countries and eras. This musical mosaic is an invitation to cross mental and geographical boundaries, forging new connections between Eastern musical traditions and the Western repertoire.

Recommended age: 7 to 107. Concert with stories told in French. A printed program in English will be available.
