Resilience and wellbeing for parents is a programme with 10 workshops designed and delivered by PPL asbl as a subsidized program by the Oeuvre National Grand Duchesse Charlotte. 

The programme explores themes important for our wellbeing and resilience covering the most important needs like relationships, meaning, flexibility, communication through subjects coming out of research and applications of positive psychology: positive emotions, strengths of character, PERMA, psychological safety, taking care of the body and the mind etc. 


Here are the dates for the workshops in English. You can register to one or more accordigly to your preferences and availability. In our experience, in order to fully benefit from the program participants should participate at least 75% of the program.

The advantages for the participants will be as follow:

- Explore themes related to resilience and well-being in a 15 hours practical and interactive program

- Meet and interact with like-minded parents in a learn & play environment ensured by our facilitators

- Learn from our expert facilitators

- Take small actions every week that will improve your resilience and wellbeing and that of your family. 

- Possibility to opt for a follow up training and become facilitator of the programme and in this way form your own group of parents in your community to contribute to their resilience and wellbeing and that of the society at large. 


How it will work: 

- The program will be delivered in separate workshops of 1 and 1/2h at Oekozenter (following the eventual pandemic regulation it can be moved online)

Languages: English. 

- Group of 10 up to 15 people

- Access online to resources and the community of parents


The facilitators will be:


Dana Moldoveanu Brandes, coaching psychologist and trainer. Dana is one of the founders of PPL asbl and its President. She holds a Master in Applied Positive Psychology and she has an experience of over 15 years as a trainer (on themes as creativity, time perception, management, leadership, personal development, communication etc), coach and consultant. Jannie Stricker, positive psychology coach and consultant. Jannie is an active member of PPL asbl. She holds a Master in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology and she is passionate about improving the work environment and the employee’s wellbeing. Maria Grazia Serra – Founding member of PPL asbl - Character Strengths Coach, Trainer and HR management and development expert, certified in Positive Psychology; Character Strengths interventions, Mindfulness-Based Strengths Practice; professional experience in the field 13 years. Suzanne Karsai is a mediator, lawyer and relationship coach. Suzanne is one of the founders of PPL asbl and active since the beginning. She was trained by the Foundation ”The World is Better With You” in 2016 to animate and deliver Happiness programs based on positive psychology. Convinced of the life-changing benefits of PP interventions, she has led numerous groups both in Hungary and in Luxembourg. You can find more details about Suzanne's background and experience on


Vera Kristensen is a psychologist, resilience trainer and translator. She is dedicated to making the world a better place through positive psychology, meditation and supporting bereaved children. After her BSc (Honours) in Psychology in 2017 she went on to study a master's programme in applied positive psychology and graduated in 2021 with distinction for her original STREAM resilience programme for working people during the Covid-19 pandemic. She has been practicing meditation for two decades and is a passionate student and practitioner of engaged Buddhism of Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh. For the last four years she has been facilitating weekly meditation meetings.
