S3 Congress - Safe, Smart and Sustainable materials

The S3 Congress returns for its 8th edition in Fribourg, bringing together European players in sustainable materials around two main themes, bio-based materials and recycling, complemented by a dedicated session on elastomers that bridges the plastics and rubber industries. Organised in partnership with the Swiss Polymer Cluster, along with other European partners to be announced soon, the event gathers industrial companies, large groups, SMEs, startups, technical centres, laboratories and European project leaders.

Designed as a genuine meeting point between academia and industry, S3 goes beyond the traditional conference format: technical presentations, networking sessions and industrial site visits create direct connections and help concrete collaborations emerge. Beyond the scientific programme, the congress showcases collaborative European projects and fosters international cooperation around the sustainability and circularity of polymer materials.
