She's Got Brass

London's premier 10-piece, all-girl brass band is coming to Freight Brixton.

Fresh from a first festival season that took in Glastonbury, Wilderness, Boomtown and Shambala, She's Got Brass bring a fiery rhythm section and an eight-piece horn line-up, tuba and baritone sax included, for a night of pure brass-fuelled energy.

Drawing on Afro-Caribbean, Latina and LGBTQ+ heritages, their sets blend cultures and push musical boundaries. The band is made up of some of the best players on London's jazz scene, with members from Kokoroko, Hackney Colliery, Bonita House Band, Seed Ensemble and more. Since forming, they've played the FA Cup Final, the F1 at Silverstone and the Victoria's Secret Westfield opening, and even shared a stage with Latin Grammy winners at the Natural History Museum.

Expect big horns, big grooves and a dancefloor that doesn't stop moving.
