Sofia Game Jam 2026

Join us for a game jam where you'll build a game from scratch, together with a team, in a limited time. This year's edition of Sofia Game Jam is co-organised with DevHubOne, and every game is made for our project Arcade with a Mission.

What to expect at Sofia Game Jam 2026:

The Game Jam:
Form a team (or find people on the spot), pick your idea and create a game in the next 48 hours. Whether you're a programmer, designer, artist or sound creator, and whether it's your first jam or your fiftieth, there's a place for you.

Arcade with a Mission:
The games are made for DevHubOne's Arcade machines that work with recycling plastic bottles and alluminium cans. The best projects can end up on real arcade hardware, so your work gets played on more than a screen.

Meet our partners:
Local studios, companies and supporters of the Bulgarian game dev scene back this year's jam. Participants who want to can share their CVs with our partners.

Showcase and prizes:
At the end, we play the games and hand out prizes to the best projects.
