Soirée Art Basel

A 18h, Daniel Jewesbury présente pour la première fois à Paris son livre d'artiste Looking at the Woman in a Bomb Blast. A 19h se tiendra la projection de The Quickening, court film de Deirdre O'Mahony, à la bande-son originale. Pour clore la soirée, à 19h30, l’auteure et critique Alice Blackhurst animera une discussion avec l’artiste Deirdre O’Mahony et la vidéaste et photographe Clare Langan. Toutes trois évoqueront notre relation à une Terre de plus en plus fragilisée.

6pm - Daniel Jewesbury presents his artist's book Looking at the Woman in a Bomb Blast for the first time in Paris. 
7pm - Screening of The Quickening, a short film with original music, by Deirdre O'Mahony who gathers farmers, scientists and politicians at her feasts, to discuss the challenges raised by the ecological crisis in relation to food production and consumption. 
7.30pm Writer and critic Alice Blackhurst leads this final event of the evening - a conversation with Deirdre O’Mahony and lens-based artist Clare Langan whose work has explored our relationship with an increasingly fragile Earth for over two decades.
