Soirée Kronos ’50 for the Future.

Depuis 2015/16, le Kronos Quartet Arts Association est à l’origine d’une nouvelle initiative passionnante : un répertoire d'apprentissage consacré aux approches les plus récentes du quatuor à cordes, conçues expressément pour la formation des étudiants et des professionnels émergents. Au rythme de dix par an pendant cinq ans des œuvres seront commandées à un groupe éclectique de compositeurs - 25 hommes et 25 femmes - et la collection représentera l'état de l'art du quatuor à cordes au XXIe siècle.

Avec trois quatuors des Conservatoires de Bruxelles et d’Anvers.

Sinds 2015/2016 is de Kronos Quartet Arts Association een pionier op het gebied van een spannend nieuw initiatief: een leerrepertoire gewijd aan de nieuwste benaderingen van het strijkkwartet, speciaal ontworpen voor de opleiding van studenten en opkomende professionals. Vijf jaar lang zullen er tien per jaar werken worden besteld bij een eclectische groep componisten - 25 mannen en 25 vrouwen - en de collectie zal de stand van zaken van het strijkkwartet in de 21e eeuw vertegenwoordigen.

Met vier kwartetten van de Conservatoria van Brussel en Antwerpen.

Kronos ’50 for the Future .

Since 2015/16, the Kronos Quartet Arts Association has pioneered an exciting new initiative: a learning repertoire dedicated to the latest approaches to string quartet, designed expressly for the training of students and emerging professionals. At the rate of ten per year for five years works will be commissioned from an eclectic group of composers - 25 men and 25 women - and the collection will represent the state of the art of the string quartet in the 21st century.

With four quartets from the Brussels and Antwerp Conservatories.
