About

Organized by the South Pacific Cruise Alliance, in collaboration with the Pacific Tourism Organisation (SPTO), the 2nd South Pacific Cruise Forum will take place over two days in Papeete, Tahiti, on October 18 and 19, 2023.
It brings together delegations from the South Pacific islands, Australia and New Zealand, as well as representatives of cruise lines operating in the area.
It is financed with the support of the French government's Pacific Fund, the Government of French Polynesia, Air Tahiti Nui and Tahiti Nui Travel. Access to conferences is therefore free of charge.

The aim is to exchange views on the future of cruise tourism in the Pacific, to gain a better understanding of the development issues and challenges facing the islands, states and territories concerned, and to converge efforts in terms of regulation, infrastructure and promotion.
A dozen conferences and round tables are scheduled for around a hundred participants, in the prestigious building of the Presidency of French Polynesia. Site visits and side events are also planned for participants.
The exchange of experience and information is crucial to ensuring harmonious, concerted, coherent and positive development for the islands' populations.
