About
States of Motion - A Contemporary Art Exhibition at Sea
An exhibition exploring movement as a condition of identity, material and legacy.
Launching its first edition during the Monaco Grand Prix 2026, The Floating Art Hotel introduces a world-first travelling art concept — reimagining a 72m megayacht as a museum-level exhibition, set to unfold across the world's most influential cultural cities.
The experience unfolds across a 350m² sculptural sundeck, where over 30 international artists — including Jaime Hayón, Jorge Parra, Jeppe Hein, Natalie Brehmer, Marina Abramović, Robert Longo, Ding Yi, Alexander Calder, Tomás Saraceno, Ana Maria Caballero, among others — engage in a continuous dialogue with their environment and with guests.
Spanning sculpture, installation, photography, digital works and live performances, States of Motion approaches movement not as spectacle, but as a living condition shaped by time, abstraction and material.
More than an exhibition, it is a curated cultural environment — bringing together collectors, founders and decision-makers in an intimate setting where conversations unfold naturally.
Music curated by CVCHE : A heatwave-born electronic pulse — where analog synthesis meets a refined techno language.
CVCHE is a powerhouse lineup that includes Jimmy Shaw (Metric, Broken Social Scene), Liam O’Neil (Kings of Leon), Dave Hodge (Broken Social Scene, Leisure Cruise), and conceptual artist Jon Morris.
