Tender Acts: A Celebration of Softness

Join Kaye Winwood and Nuala Clooney for an intimate edible ritual that embraces softness as a source of pleasure, strength and knowledge.

Recognising that food is more than nourishment, Tender Acts invites participants to experience food as a collaborator in self-care, connection and reflection. Through a menu of flavours, textures and gentle acts of care—including cooling mists, soothing massage, aromatic exfoliants and sumptuously shaped jellies—participants are encouraged to touch, taste and savour.

This gentle multisensory experience celebrates softness and pleasure, inviting participants to reconnect with their bodies and recognise them as sites of knowledge, relation and becoming.

The menu includes: A rose mist, Lemon sugar scrub, Lime jelly, Chilli lip balm, Brown rice tea jelly with sesame cracker, Coffee ground exfoliate. May vary.

About the facilitators: Kaye Winwood and Nuala Clooney are artists based in Birmingham, UK. They are collaborators, and share an interest in food as artistic practice and discourse.
