About Shai Kaplan

In her early teens, Shai was diagnosed with brain tumors. After multiple surgeries and with little hope for recovery, she chose to live as if every day were her last. Her journey lef her to India, where she became a direct student of B.K.S. Iyengar and discovered the profound healing power of therapeutic yoga. Under his guidance, she not only experienced her own recovery but was also inspired to integrate therapeutic yoga into the healthcare system. 

Collaborating with Reuth, Shaare Zedek, and Soroka Medical Centers in Israel, Shai has since expanded AnuYoga globally, bringing the benefits of Iyengar Yoga to healthcare institutions across the European Union. 

Since October 7, AnuYoga has intensified its efforts in Israel, addressing the urgent needs of those affected by war - supporting the families of hostages, freed hostages, injured soldiers, and wounded civilians - offering theraputic yoga as a powerful tool for recovery and resilience.
