"The Game of Shifting Mirrors"

“In an extended temporal space,
The mirrors are everywhere.
You and Me,
An echo thread of wonderland.” 

“The Game of Shifting Mirrors” is a 4 part immersive experience and performance, provoking the awakening of an inner world, where, in the dark, one can see.

The audience are invited one by one to enter into a world of wonder where, through reflection, perception and relational encounter, one discovers not merely a performance, but an unfolding of presence, curiosity and shared seeing. 

Through the extended temporal space that is created, the audience are participants whose presence and awareness is instrumental in the collective wandering labyrinth that evolves. 

There is mystery, there is nothingness, there are a few surprise twists to trigger further the collective space.

Since 2008, The Rabbit Hole has been creating experiences that seek to stimulate new ideas about the self and the other and to challenge culturally constructed limits and borders. With a history of developing acclaimed deeply moving encounters and journeys in New York City, Barcelona, Istanbul and Naples, with the backing of Adidas, Diageo, among others brands, and the support of foundations such as Fondazione Morra and The Anna Lindh Foundation, the collective perseveres strongly with its principles on deconstruction and the reinvention of rituals and forms. 

Connecting the research “the art of remembering” through techniques learned at Teatro de Los Sentidos, Samina Virani wrote “The Game of Shifting Mirrors” as a profound yet playful mirror work, that takes each one tumbling down the rabbit hole, into a blank canvas, a surprising collective wonderland, and ritual of "seeing."

Here actors Rossella Cecili and Chiara Capitani bring the script to life with their powerful, playful and vivacious performances.
