The role of of social capital as a leadership and career development tool
Description
To complete the Bocconi Alumni Paris Mentoring Program 2024, we will have the pleasure of welcoming Professor Fabrizio Castellucci for a lecture about the role of of social capital as a leadership and career development tool, both within the company and in the external context.
Properly using social networks is a fundamental prerequisite for exercising leadership and enhancing the coordination of activities within organizations. In contexts where teams are composed of individuals from different functional, regional, or national areas, people must be able to effectively coordinate themselves with diverse goals, interests, and skills.
Building an appropriate network of relationships can, therefore, facilitate the leader's activities as well as create the ideal context to develop career opportunities.
In the session, we will analyze and practice data on managerial networks to pinpoint patterns in relationship network development and find solutions to address structural constraints.
Given the significance of the topic and Professor Castellucci's esteemed position, attendance at the event will be open also to all members of the Bocconi Alumni Community and their friends.
Fabrizio Castellucci is an Associate Professor at Bocconi University and a Professor of Leadership at SDA Bocconi, where he previously directed the Doctorate in Business Administration.
