About

On 1 May 1926, Ford Motor Company in the USA became the first major employer to adopt a five-day, 40 hour working week. This month marks 100 years since that event.

For this European Work-Time Network's webinar, we are joined by the 4-Day Week Foundation and the Autonomy Institute to discuss the history of the 5-day week, where we are today and the campaign for the 4-day week.

The event will be hosted online at 1pm Brussels time on Wednesday 27th May. Our speakers will deliver a short presentation on the subject, followed by an audience Q&A.
