Twelfth Night

Common Ground Theatre are delighted to  present Twelfth Night, to celebrate the opening of The Stage in the Woods Amphitheatre at The Mount, Camphill Community, Wadhurst, in partnership with Common Ground Theatre.

Join Common Ground Theatre for their acclaimed, heartfelt, and richly entertaining take on Twelfth Night. At its core, this is a story of love and loss—but beneath the surface Shakespeare’s darker themes of pride, hatred, and revenge rise to meet the comedy with gripping intensity.

Brought to life with vibrant costumes, live music, and classic clowning, this production celebrates the full emotional range of the Bard’s beloved play. Expect mistaken identities, romantic chaos, and moments of deep humanity—all delivered with the energy and inventiveness Common Ground is known for.

This will take place on an outdoor stage so please remember to bring a cushion for sensitive bottoms, and waterproof clothing for the great British Weather. There will be lighting on site but it is also recommended to bring a torch for extra safety.
