Between trance and house: the evolution of an electronic artist

Abel Drouet first made his name as a member of the trio Oden & Fatzo, an essential act on the electronic music scene. With a style and energy that left a lasting impression, he has continually explored and pushed the boundaries of his music.

Today, he opens a new chapter in his career with his solo project: Metro Kid.

Metro Kid is a carefully crafted fusion of trance and house, driven by contagious energy. The project draws inspiration from his early beginnings in psytrance, his evolution into house music, and his teenage years in the 90s — a decade that shaped his musical taste and style.

His live sets, dynamic and immersive, promise to transport audiences into a unique sonic universe.

With Metro Kid, Abel continues to reinvent his art and expand his horizons, ready to captivate a new generation of fans. An adventure worth following closely.

Coming from Marseille, LAZE has been interested in electronic music from an early age.She became familiar with the Marseille nightlife, which inspired her, first through hard music, rave and acid techno oriented parties.

She then discovered techno through Caisson Gauche Records, organizers and label of which she is part.

LAZE shapes and asserts her dreamlike style over time, with brilliant, energetic and digital looks.

With a broad and eclectic musical background, he has developed a strong feel for crafting DJ sets, allowing him to move effortlessly between club environments and festival stages.

Active for several years on the Lille scene, he has notably performed at the Touquet Music Festival and Jardin Électronique last year, sharing lineups with internationally renowned artists.

You may have also caught him this season at Happy Hours or at Café Chaud.

We are a trio of music lovers who bonded over a shared passion for the dance floor.

Five years ago we felt the underground music scene in Verbier needed a facelift. So
we started Front Left with the aim of providing a unique vibe with quality sound
design and great music programming while installing our own lights and decoration.
We’ve grown from one or two events during the winter season to sell out events all
year and bookings across europe.

We curate the music, bringing together a balance of house, techno, disco, Italo,
broken beats and a big beat manifesto. Often playing all night long, we carefully
control the energy of the room, with the exception of inviting our favourite dj friends.

Josh is our logistical, environmental and energy man. Bringing an unmatched energy
to the team and whatever dancefloor he graces, he’s a true music lover and keeps our
spirts high.

Lucy is the music programmer at the renowned Farinet where for the last three years
she has hosted the likes of Crazy P, Guts, Mungos Hifi, Demi Riquisimo, Lulah Francs,
Groove Armada, Dan Shake, Paula Tape, Manami and Jive Talk. She is a force to be
reckoned with and with taste like that, you can trust she has a bag of weapons.

Finally, Dean is our in-house self-proclaimed sound engineer, light and tech guy. He
has an unhealthy obsession for digging and programming the best sound for our
parties. With his ever-growing vinyl collection, a touch of producing and his big smile
you are in good hands when it's his turn to pick the tunes.
