YEKRIK KIZOMBA DAY 2027 | THE BRIDGE

YEKRIK KIZOMBA DAY 2027 | THE BRIDGE

Saturday, 9 January 2027
EL OLIVO TANGO CLUB — Barcelona

YEKRIK is back.

For this new edition, we are building THE BRIDGE — a bridge between roots and evolution, Angolan culture and today’s Kizomba scene.

YEKRIK is a word from Kreyol, my Guadeloupean mother language.

Traditionally, storytellers begin with the call:

YEKRIK!

And the audience answers:

YEKRAK!

For this edition, we are ready to write a new story together.

Expect a Kizomba experience combining learning, cultural transmission, music, Ginga, Kizomba, Semba and social dancing, with international and local artists and DJs.

From the roots to modernity.

From the story we inherited to the story we are writing today.

YEKRIK!

Will you answer YEKRAK?
