Yorkshire Christmas Wreaths at The Dovecot

Join us for a cosy Christmas wreath-making afternoon at the beautiful Dovecot Gallery in Styrrup, Yorkshire.

You'll learn how to create your own unique Christmas wreath using 100% Yorkshire-grown foliage and dried flowers, with guidance from florist and flower grower Jo Bailey of Leaf & Stem.

Working with a reusable metal wreath base, you'll be shown how to build your wreath from scratch, combining different textures, colours and natural materials before finishing it with a beautiful ribbon.

No previous experience is needed. Whether you're a seasoned crafter or have never made a wreath before, this is a relaxed and friendly workshop where you can take your time, get creative and make something completely your own.

We'll take a short break during the afternoon for some festive refreshments, including tea, coffee, mulled wine and mince pies.

At the end of the workshop, you'll have a beautiful handmade wreath to take home and enjoy throughout the Christmas season.

About Leaf & Stem

Leaf & Stem is an independent floral studio founded by Paris-based florist and flower grower Jo Bailey.

Jo has been working in floristry for over eight years and, alongside her floral work in Paris, grows seasonal cut flowers at Friche Florale, an urban flower farm at La Cité Fertile in Pantin.

Her approach to floristry centres around seasonal flowers, locally grown materials and a more natural, thoughtful way of working with flowers.

For this Yorkshire workshop, she'll be bringing that same approach home, working with foliage and dried flowers grown locally in Yorkshire.

Come and enjoy a little pause from the Christmas rush, make something beautiful with your own hands, and take home a wreath that's entirely your own.
