HELCITY OPEN AIR 2027

8 MAY 2027 | HELCHTEREN, BELGIUM

BY METALHEADS, FOR METALHEADS.

Helcity Open Air was born from something simple: our love for metal and the community that comes with it.

We've spent years enjoying the music, the festivals, the friendships and everything that makes this scene special. Now, we want to bring a little of that experience to our hometown of Helchteren.

On 8 May 2027, we're bringing together 15 acts across 2 stages for a full day of metal. From heavy and power metal to thrash, death and everything in between, we're putting together a line-up that reflects the diversity of the music we love.

But for us, Helcity isn't just about who's playing.

It's about the people standing in front of the stage, too.

We've deliberately limited our festival to 2,000 visitors. Not because we don't want to grow, but because we want everyone to have room to enjoy themselves. We want a festival where you can grab a drink, enjoy some good food, discover a new favourite band and spend the day surrounded by people who share your passion.

We're doing our best to keep things affordable, welcoming and enjoyable for everyone. Because at the end of the day, we're festivalgoers ourselves, and we know how much those little things matter.

We're not here to compete over who can organise the biggest festival. We simply want to create something we're proud of, together with the people who make the metal scene what it is.

So whether you're coming for your favourite band, discovering something new or just looking forward to spending a day with fellow metalheads, we hope you'll feel right at home.

Welcome to Helcity Open Air. We're glad to have you with us.
